Guillermo Kopp
Guillermo co-founded GUAU Corporation in 2010. He counsels financial firms and industry providers so they can promptly attain a balanced understanding of risk and act upon more relevant and timely information. He has spent most of his career advising top level executives on a wide range of risk management issues and strategic trends, and driving fundamental change at top-tier firms in the financial services industry.
Prior to GUAU, Guillermo was Executive Director at the advisory research and consulting firm TowerGroup which he joined in 2002. Sought for his depth of knowledge and strategic vision, he delivered keynote presentations frequently at industry events, was featured in broadcast media (e.g., Bloomberg, CNBC, Fox Business News, Reuters), and authored many influential reports. Previously, Guillermo served at Citigroup for 16 years in progressive leadership roles across corporate, consumer, and private banking lines of business globally, also serving at Boards of subsidiaries. Earlier in his career, Guillermo had served as the corporate CIO of Aerolineas Argentinas, and also in the International Air Transport Association in Switzerland. Guillermo holds a Masters of Science in project management from George Washington University and a computer science degree from the University of Buenos Aires.
